Lunar Poker rules and house edge
Lunar Poker carries a 4.9% house edge as of 2026-08-25. Payouts and glossary below come from public sources; venue-specific rule variants are noted on each venue page.
Also known as Russian Poker. From a single deck, player and dealer each get five cards with the dealer's bottom card exposed. After the mandatory Ante and Super wagers the player may fold, play (twice the ante), buy a sixth card, or exchange cards. The dealer qualifies with ace-king or better; if the dealer fails to qualify the Ante pays even money and the Raise pushes.

Basic strategy
- · Buying or exchanging costs another ante each — use them only when the hand clearly improves.
- · If the dealer does not qualify only the Ante pays and the Raise pushes, so a big hand can pay less than expected.
- · The side bet runs around an 18% house edge — nearly four times the main game.
