Niu Niu rules and house edge
Niu Niu carries a 2.5% house edge as of 2026-08-25. Payouts and glossary below come from public sources; venue-specific rule variants are noted on each venue page.
Player and dealer each receive five cards, split into a three-card group and a two-card group. Card values follow baccarat — ace 1, 2–10 pip value, face cards zero. If the three cards total a multiple of ten a "niu" is formed and the remaining two cards decide the rank; when both groups reach zero the hand is Niu Niu, the highest.
