Cebu Country Club is a private members' golf club in Barangay Kasambagan, Cebu City. Per its official pages the club was incorporated on 11 April 1928 and was the first golf course in Cebu, founded by American, British and Spanish residents of the city. It opened as a nine-hole course; another nine holes were added in the early 1960s to make it a full 18-hole championship layout, which was later reworked by Gary Player and his associates. The course today plays as 18 holes, par 72, and the club describes it in terms of mature trees, tropical landscaping, natural water features and placed hazards. Play is governed by the R&A Rules of Golf together with the club's own local rules, in effect since 1 February 2021. Green fees are published in two tiers — member's guest and club guest / tourist — and the tourist tier is the one that applies to visitors; it includes a shared golf cart. A nine-hole tourist rate is also published at PHP 3,000 on weekdays and PHP 4,000 at weekends and on holidays. The official rate card states that the current figures are a temporary adjustment during ongoing clubhouse renovations, so they may change once that work is finished.
